Beginning to Wax

The fall & winter are a perfect time to begin body waxing. It is much easier to let hair grow the required 3/4 inch when you’re not baring all in a bathing suit or cute dress!

Hair grows in three stages; anagen, catagen, and telogen. Since most of the hair on the body is in the anagen stage at the same time, this makes it the perfect time in the hair growth cycle to wax.

Have you ever felt a little stubble after getting waxed? That’s because some of the hairs were still in the early stages of growing and not long enough to be removed with wax. With regular waxing every three to four weeks, all of your hairs will begin to be on the same growth cycle so you get the best results! It can take up up four waxing treatments before this happens, and it’s imperative you don’t shave in between.

Don’t be discouraged if your hair doesn’t stay gone too long for the first few times. The more you wax the longer it will last! Great results also depend on using the finest wax and best technique available, you’ll find that at bow & arrow.

So put down that razor and I’ll see you in three weeks!
❤ Jill
